In this second part of the Trilogy, Ella has professional struggles and takes on a larger project in New York. As she adjusts there from the Bay Area some other setbacks come her way that force her to Europe. Or was it serendipity after all? Does Ella find love or lose it? What goes wrong in New York? How do all the puzzle pieces come together?

California Goodbye are the stories of how Ella ended up in Europe after all.
